What a wrap actually gets you
A quality vinyl wrap does two jobs at once. It gives the car a finish you cannot order from the factory — satin, matte, forged carbon, or a color shift that reads green in one light and gold in the next — and it puts a removable layer between your paint and the world. Take it off in a few years and the paint underneath is the paint you started with.
Why the prep is the job
Anyone can lay film on a flat panel. What separates a wrap that still looks right in year four from one that lifts by the first summer is everything that happens before the vinyl comes off the roll: a proper decontamination wash, panels and trim removed rather than tucked around, edges wrapped instead of cut short, and recesses post-heated so the film stays where it was put.
The materials we run
3M, Avery Dennison, KPMF, Hexis, TeckWrap, Essmo, Aura and Raxtify. Which one goes on your car depends on the color you want and the shape of the panels — deep-channel bumpers and heavily curved bodywork need films that stretch and recover differently.
