Questions

Everything people ask.

How much does a full vehicle wrap cost?

It depends on the vehicle and the film. A compact coupe with simple bodywork takes far less material and labour than a truck with a deep bumper and heavy curves, and color-shift or forged-carbon films cost more per roll than a standard gloss. Send us the year, make and model along with the color you are after and we will give you a real number rather than a range.

How long does a wrap last?

A quality film that was installed properly and looked after will typically give you several years of good service. Sun exposure is the biggest factor — a car that lives outside on the Central Coast ages faster than one that is garaged. Hand washing and avoiding harsh automatic car washes makes a genuine difference.

Will a wrap damage my paint?

Not when the factory paint is healthy and the film is removed correctly. That is one of the main reasons people wrap instead of repaint: it is reversible. Where problems occur it is almost always because a panel had previous bodywork or aftermarket paint underneath, so we check for that before quoting.

Is PPF better than a wrap?

They do different jobs. PPF is clear and its purpose is impact protection — rock chips, road debris, scratches. A vinyl wrap is about changing the color and finish. Plenty of cars get both: PPF on the front end that takes the hits, wrap over the rest for the look.

How long will you have my car?

A full wrap is usually a multi-day job because the prep, the install and the post-heating all take time and none of it should be rushed. Smaller work — a front-end PPF package, tint, a single-stage polish — is often turned around much faster. We will give you a realistic window when we quote, and we stick to it.

Do I need paint correction before a ceramic coating?

Almost always, yes. A coating seals in whatever the paint looks like on the day it goes on, so applying one over swirl marks locks those swirls in for years. Correcting first is what makes the coating worth paying for.

What kind of window tint do you use?

Ceramic film. It rejects far more heat than dyed film, will not turn purple, and does not interfere with phone signal, GPS or tire-pressure sensors the way older metallic tints do. We will also tell you what shade is street legal in California before we cut anything.

Do you wrap commercial vehicles and fleets?

Yes — printed commercial wraps, logo installation and fleet color matching. We have done everything from single service vans to trucks that needed new graphics laid over an existing brand scheme.

Where are you and do I need an appointment?

We are at 537 S Railroad Ave, Suite E in Santa Maria, and yes — call or text (805) 441-9724 first. Bay space gets booked out, and vehicles are worked on one at a time rather than parked in a queue.
